I will NOT draw:

NSFW/18+:

  • Sexual Content / Fetish / Suggestive Content (poses/expression)

  • Explicit/Extreme gore (exceptions on mild to medium violence, blood, gore, etc. as I do not mind experimenting with horror but won't do anything over kill etc.)

  • Nipples (possible minor exceptions) / Genitalia / Major/full human nudity

Certain animals ocs:

  • Cows, sheep, goats, and similar farm animals (excluding horses, or fantasy hybrids)

  • Rats and mice

  • However, I am flexible here, and can openly discuss

Romance:

  • No kissing or intimate cuddles

  • I may make exceptions on hugs, and I am open to minor romance such as nuzzling, handholds, presenting flowers, etc. just no kisses.

Misc:

  • Maggots

  • Dobsonflies, stoneflies, and similar

  • I may decline certain body types on humanoids if I feel my skill level cannot match.

  • Anything that goes against site rules

I MAY draw:

Technically can draw but may be less skilled at, or content I may be uncertain with, (overall I am open to drawing them).

Robots:

  • I can attempt to draw mechanical parts, limbs, etc. providing their is clear reference, but I am more likely to pass on complex machines similar to those featured in Horizon Zero Dawn (I can attempt, but accuracy will falter).

Animals like:
I can technically draw but may falter slightly at (I just need references - I like a challenge and am highly likely happy to draw most of these).

  • Horses

  • Felines

  • Birds

  • Certain Insects (possible exceptions here)

  • Lizards

  • Fish and marine life

Anthros:

  • I can draw humanoids and ferals, I just might be a little rusty with anthros, but technically can draw in my own style.

Complex designs:

  • Please contact me prior to ordering a commission if you think your design is complex.

  • I enjoy taking on complex designs but there are some cases where I may have to decline.

Clothes and Armor:

  • I can and will draw clothes, armor accessories, etc. please note there are some corners where I may struggle, especially in rendered paintings where I may struggle with texture and folds (untested).

Gore and violence:

  • Please contact me first if you wish to add violent, bloody, and/or gorey, elements to your commission.

  • The same goes for gorey-looking horror beasts (excluding boney, skinny, spikey, sharp toothed), an example of something I would hesitate with is a Proxy from SOMA compared to The Flesher (who I could and have drawn).

  • I am okay with attempting to draw gore, and I am open to draw bones, cuts, blood, and similar, but some aspects I may either struggle with or not be up to.

  • I will NOT draw extreme gore/violence.

Original species:

  • Please provide links to the original species ref and traits sheets etc. and provide me basic info in regards to your character and their species.

  • Some original species rules may be too complex for me to comprehend and follow correctly where I may have to decline the commission, but this is unlikely.

Landscapes:

  • I often experiment with backgrounds, and will give landscapes and scenes a go providing they are not too complicated and outside of my skill set.

  • Note I will most likely struggle with buildings, architecture, and interiors as opposed to nature.

I CAN/WILL draw:

Creatures:

  • Dragons

  • Most monsters

  • Beasts

  • Aliens

  • Etc.

Ferals:

  • Wolves

  • Etc

Humanoids:

  • Humans

  • Human-like entities

  • Anything upright and bipedal with or without human features

  • Gods, demons, angels, elves,

Original designs:

  • Characters and creatures with unique features

  • Original species can be included here

General:

Non-commercial:

  • By default, all commissions are for non-commercial, and personal, unless stated otherwise or discussed.

  • You are NOT allowed to make and sell prints/merch of your commission without permission from me. In turn, I will NOT make merch/prints of your commission (or character). The only exception is personal use, such as gifting, printing a poster or personal-use products, as long as you do not intend to make and sell products for a profit.

  • Please contact and ask me if you are unsure of anything.

Credit me for the original artwork:

  • Do not claim the artwork (or the original design if ordering a custom) as your own (please credit Proximasaur).

  • The commissioner may post and share the finished commission providing they explicitly state that it was a commission by me (Proximasaur); credit me and link back where you can.

Anonymous commissions:

  • Please let me know if you wish to remain anonymous when I post commissions.

  • If you do NOT want me to post your commission publicly, please let me know ASAP.

Artwork for someone else:

Under options, please notify me about who the gift is for.

  • You may commission a art gift for a friend

  • You may order a commission on behalf of another providing they give permission (please let me know the arrangement of who will be contacted and how)

No AI/NFTs:

Strictly NO Generative AI and NO Non-fungible tokens.

No AI:

  • You will not feed any art commissioned or drawn by me to AI

  • You are not allowed to generate images from my WIPs or end results

  • To summarize: You will not put my art and designs anywhere near AI

No NFTs:

  • Do NOT turn my art into a non-fungible token

  • Do NOT associate my art in any way with NFTs

Refunds:

By default, I do not do refunds unless absolutely necessary (please do not be a jerk and cancel your commission when I have begun your commission).

Cases where the client may request a refund:

  • Where I have not begun the commission after two months

  • Where I have made zero or minimal progress on a WIP commission after two months

  • Where the entire commission has reached a year and nowhere near complete (unless the commission is highly complex such as many complex characters and details in a more time consuming style)

Cases where I may refund:

  • Where I cannot complete the commission due to personal matters or not enough time

  • Where a client has broken rules

  • Where the commissioner has removed addons before they were started (such as an addon for shading, where shading had not been started, or an addon for an extra character who has not been added to the scene in any way)

Misc:

Designs:

If you ordered a custom or purchased a character design from me

  • You are welcome to make as many edits to the original design as you like

  • Unless stated otherwise, you may regift, resell, trade, or rename, your design

  • Please credit me (Proximasaur) for the original design (if I am the creator)

Do not vandalize my art:

  • Please do not use one of my artworks and redraw / paint-over it in inappropriate ways, defile, or destroy it, etc. especially under malicious intentions.

  • Do not correct my artworks, especially without permission

  • Do NOT turn my art into NSFW/18+ content

Tracing and Redrawing:

  • For learning purposes, you are allowed to trace my art, but please avoid posting it, especially without credit (it is okay to share it privately but please make sure to credit me)

  • You are also allowed to study or redraw my art, but as stated above, always credit me for the original artwork

  • You are allowed to take inspiration from my character/creature designs, providing they do not directly copy

Reposting, or image usage:

  • Please do not repost my art without permission and without credit

  • If you which to use my images in a video, please contact me for permission

  • Otherwise, please do not use my artwork

Broken rules:

Especially harsh under no AI, 18+ and disrespect.

If you break some of my more important rules, I will resort to withdrawing your commission:

  • No AI/NFTs

  • Being disrespectful

  • Intentionally sharing explicit, nsfw/18+, content

  • Art theft

  • Making a profit off of the commission and selling it as merch without asking for permission (by default my commissions are non-commercial)

If I discover you break these rules, I will blacklist you, and refund the remainder.
